How to choose between HTML 5 Validation and Javascript form Validation? What is the difference between them?
Here is my code. I want to add client-side validation to the below form. But I have a doubt about which one to choose between HTML 5 Validation and Javascript form Validation

HTML 5 validation and Javascript form Validation are the 2 methods of Validation to validate the user input is correct and consistent before submitting the form. HTML 5 validation and Javascript validation have their own advantages and disadvantages.
HTML 5 Validation provides set of inbuilt attributes to validate the user input. It does not require Javascript and directly applied to the input tag. It provides a simple way to validate common types such as numbers, range, email input, required validaion etc. Now HTML 5 Validation is supported by most of the web browsers.
Javascript validation allows you to define custom validation rules, handling complex validation cases, and provide error messages. When comparing to HTML 5 Validation, Javascript validation is flexible and more powerful approach to form validation.
It is very eazy to use and implement HTML 5 Validation. However, it is limited to set of validation rules. HTML 5 Validation is not flexible as Javascript validation. It does not provide custom error messages. Whereas, Javascript can provide custom error messages.
There are certain factors that need to be considered when choosing between HTML5 Validation and JavaScript form validation. The complexity of your forms, the Level of Javascript expertise, and your browser support requirements need to be considered. If your forms are complex, then Javascript form Validation would be a better choice. HTML5 Validation is sufficient if you are choosing a simple form. Browser support requirement is an important factor that needs to be considered when choosing between HTML5 Form Validation and javascript Validation.
If you need to show an error with minimal code, I suggest you apply HTML5 Validation rules. In your form, you have to validate a text and email only. So I suggest to go with HTML 5 Validation. In any case, you have to show error keywords like "Email Already Exists" or "Name already Exists". Then I prefer Javascript Validation rules. Javascript can connect with APIs using AJAX and it is not possible in HTML 5 Validation.
